The History of the Chamber
The Plainfield Chamber of Commerce was established in 1967 to promote commerce in the community. In 1992, the chamber was restructured and joined with the town government to lead the economic development efforts by hiring the first full time director. Today, the chamber director and staff continue to provide these services to the membership. We are located at 210 West Main Street next door to the Town Municipal Building.

Our Mission Statement
The mission of the Plainfield Chamber of Commerce is to provide services to the membership and promote business, economic development, and involvement in the greater Plainfield area.

Membership Meetings
Membership Meetings are held every THIRD THURSDAY starting promptly at 7:30 AM at the Plainfield Recreation and Aquatic Center unless announced otherwise. All chamber members are invited to attend and guests are welcome to join us. Each meeting begins with time for networking followed by introductions. Time is available for community announcements and chamber business followed by our guest speaker’s presentation. Coffee, water, juice and refreshments are available.

Our meetings are a great way to meet people in the community while having a great time!
