The History of the Chamber
The Plainfield Chamber of Commerce was
established in 1967 to promote commerce in the
community. In 1992, the chamber was restructured
and joined with the town government to lead the
economic development efforts by hiring the first
full time director. Today, the chamber director
and staff continue to provide these services to
the membership. We are located at 210 West Main
Street next door to the Town Municipal Building.
Our Mission Statement
The mission of the Plainfield Chamber of
Commerce is to promote continuous improvement of
commerce in Plainfield by taking leadership in
community development through actively
supporting and promoting social, economic,
cultural, and educational
activities.
Membership Meetings
Membership Meetings are held every THIRD
THURSDAY starting promptly at 7:30 AM at the
Plainfield Recreation and Aquatic Center unless
announced otherwise. All chamber members are
invited to attend and guests are welcome to join
us. Each meeting begins with time for networking
followed by introductions. Time is available for
community announcements and chamber business
followed after our guest speaker’s presentation.
Coffee, water, juice and refreshments are
available.

Please bring business cards, marketing materials
and calendars to be added to our contact list.
Our meetings are a great way to meet people in
the community while have a great time!
Monthly Newsletters
All members receive a monthly newsletter with
updated events, calendar and news. Click here to
view this months and past months newsletters. To
submit information in the newsletter, news is
needed before the 1st of each month.
